Your options

A will, a trust—or both?

A will may be your starting point

Discuss beneficiaries, guardian nominations for minor children, and instructions for assets passing under your will. Add financial and healthcare documents to address decisions during your lifetime.

Explore wills and packages

A trust may be worth discussing

Consider how property placed in a trust would be managed, who would take over, and how beneficiaries would receive support. The right trust depends on its purpose and requires attention to funding.

Not sure which fits? We’ll help you weigh the options for your family, property, and goals.

Discuss your options

Planning around your life.

Families & changing households

Discuss beneficiaries, guardian nominations, and who could manage an inheritance for a child. Revisit existing wills, trusts, and beneficiary designations after marriage or a change in family circumstances.

Homeowners & business owners

Consider how your home, other property, and business ownership interests fit into your estate plan, including who should receive or manage those interests.

Planning for aging & care

Plan for financial and healthcare decisions, potential long-term-care needs, and Medicaid eligibility. Consider your assets, household needs, and the rules in your state as part of advance planning.

Supporting a loved one with a disability

Consider future support, who will manage the funds, and how a special needs trust can be coordinated with the benefits your loved one relies on.
